Founded by San Diego raised and based Stephanie Lamond, inspired by her love of music and ideated on two wheels.

In the music business, it often pays to partner on creative projects so your team can keep doing what they do best, whether that’s manufacturing, advocating, or creating works of your own. That’s where Unpaved Roads comes in, drawing on Stephanie’s lifelong immersion within the music industry, current training as a Clinical Counselor specializing in mental health and creativity in the music business, and extensive experience managing programs and creative projects for companies like NAMM, the Recording Academy, KMD Productions, Women of NAMM, the One Minute Academy, and San Francisco’s Blue Bear School of Music.

In addition, Stephanie has written about music, mental health, and creativity on her Substack, Unpaved Roads, for the Women’s International Music Network, Traktivist, and the Wild Honeypie.

Through it all, each project created and story told contains an authentic spark of the human experience and a uniquely human creativity, inspired by her belief that by telling the stories that make us who we are, we free those after to be all they can be.
